Very isolated area
Very clear waters and two uninhabited beaches
In the Favaritx area we find the two best beaches in the entire Albufera del Grau natural park and its magnificent 33-meter-high lighthouse built in the 1920s.
Cala Presili and Tortuga are two beaches of fine white sand, with easy access to the water, hardly any rocks and with a gentle slope, perfect for the little ones.
When you arrive by boat, a very beautiful silhouette is drawn, when you see the two uninhabited beaches, without urbanizations, and in the middle a small mountain with an incredible viewpoint.
Beneath the lookout, there is a perfect spot to drop anchor and enjoy the views.
Once anchored, you can reach the beaches without any problem with the auxiliary , and from there start walking and visiting the small lagoon behind Cala Tortuga. From there you can see many waterfowl and small pine and tamarind forests.
Then, another very interesting excursion, is to walk towards the lighthouse and its surroundings. There the rocks stop having vegetation and you reach a lunar landscape , with rocks in many shapes, ideal for taking photos, videos and enjoying the sunset.
Regarding diving, this area has several pitfalls, where a lot of marine life abounds. It is easy to see octopus, cuttlefish, rays and hopefully a few barracuda.
And finally, it is important to emphasize that this place in Menorca, does not have any service, there are no lifeguards, there is hardly any shade and very little mobile coverage. So it is important to bring plenty of water, an umbrella and lots of sunscreen.
